Job Requirements: Shares our commitment to our mission, vision, and values. Minimum of 2 year's of experience in a specialty setting. RVT preferred. Pharmacology knowledgeAnesthesia knowledge Demonstrated excellence in nursing care and critical thinking skills Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and limited on-call duties Strong desire to learn and grow in the role. Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. Required Skills: Proficient in calculating doses and administering intravenous drugs and fluids Ninja-like reflexes to handle surprise tail wags and unexpected bodily fluid encounters Skilled in obtaining and analyzing laboratory samples (blood, urine, and stool) Expertise in interpreting meows, barks, and chirps—telepathic skills are a plus! Experience in catheter placement Possesses the stamina of an athlete to keep up with lively kitties and energetic puppies Capable of monitoring patients under anesthesia (ventilator experience is a plus!)
