Veterinary Technician Supervisor
**BluePearl Pet Hospital is** **looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals in our Pittsburgh North Hospital. You will be overseeing our Laboratory & Pharmacy associates.** + Do you consistently lead by example? + Are you a passionate and patient coach and mentor to your teammates? + Do you enjoy working together as a team to provide excellent patient care? **Pay:** $26.00 - $40.00 / hour **This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our leveling system** . **Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.** We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example: + Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential + Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential + Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential **As a Veterinary Technician** **Supervisor** **, you will…** + Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.  + Oversee the flow of the Pharmacy and Lab + Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.  + Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.  + Organize training schedules for Technician staff.  + Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution. + Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.  + Other related duties as assigned. **Why** **BluePearl** **?** + Our passion is pets.
