You will be a Visual Effects Generalist for the engineering visualization team in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for creating high-quality visual effects and supporting various aspects of the rendering pipeline.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Visual Effects Generalist, you will be responsible for providing support and contribution to the team, utilizing your diverse capabilities and artistic ability across multiple CG disciplines, including modelling, rigging, animation, texturing, shading, lighting, rendering, effects, and compositing.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Providing artistic support and contribution to the team
• Working on 3D modeling, texturing, scene set up, compositing, and rendering
• Collaborating with other artists to support various aspects of the rendering pipeline
• Utilizing your artistic eye for composition and details to create high-quality visual effects

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3D Generalist
- Proficient in hard surface modeling, texturing, scene set up and rendering
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Proficiency in Houdini
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of the LM EVE pipeline, render farm, infrastructure and CUI compliance
- Proficiency in the Adobe suite and Nuke
- Understanding of story boarding process
- FX experience in pyro, fluid simulations
- Animation experience
- Ability to obtain clearance
- Masters degree in art design or 2 years professional experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
