We are seeking a Industrial Vibration Technician for maintenance work in the Plaquemine, LA. The ideal candidate will already have verifiable vibration tech experience on resume. \n\nCertified Level 1 or 2 vibration analyst\nAnalyze and report on rotating equipment\nKnowledge of mechanical systems and rotating equipment preferred\nMust be physically able to climb stairs and ladders\nMust have current TWIC card\nExperience installing and removing electric motors and other electro-mechanical equipment\nAble to perform basic math functions\nAble to understand, perform and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures\n\n

Vibration Technician will perform electrical tests and vibration analysis using various portable electronic equipment, field balancing, laser alignments, installing and removal of electric motors and other electro-mechanical equipment, and interpret and ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures.\n

Functional Requirements:\n
Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantles machines; moves machinery and equipment; assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines and blowers; aligns machines and equipment using reverse alignment method; assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures; may operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications; may repair and lubricate machines and equipment; may be involved in the grouting activity for equipment base plates.\n

Qualification Standards:\n\nFour years of experience in specified skill\nWritten pre-employment qualification test\nCertified Level 1 or 2 vibration analyst\nPost-offer drug\/alcohol screen and physical evaluation\n\n
