The Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is recruiting a Vice Chair of Education (VCE) to lead and innovate within our esteemed educational programs.

CHA is a vital safety net public system with a strong state partnership serving Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston's metro-north region. CHA Psychiatry aspires to be the leading academic department of public and community psychiatry in the nation. The VCE will oversee, support, and innovate within the department’s well-established UME, GME, and CME programs in psychiatry, psychology, and social work. Our mission is to train the next generation of clinician-scientists and clinician-educators to play leading roles in academic, public, and community settings.

The VCE will be a member of the department’s executive team and will collaborate closely with department leaders in strategic planning and decision-making. Representing CHA Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, the VCE will help shape the future of psychiatric training and education.

The department is fully committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in our faculty and our clinical care. Women and members of historically marginalized groups are encouraged to apply.

CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS). This position carries an HMS appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
