The bank is ranked 4th on the list of largest banks in the US. Publicis services Citi in support of strategic marketing and communications for the Global Brand, Wealth Management and the US Personal Banking organization. This role is for a VP, Account Director that will lead the relationship with senior-level marketing clients within the Citi Global Brand organization driving global brand identity, with a strong emphasis on brand strategy, brand design, creative development, and campaign rollout / communications. _Why would the candidate be excited to work on this brand?_ Publics services Citi in an integrated, Power of One model, bringing together Publicis Groupe agencies and capabilities to support Citi’s strategic priorities. This includes critical Creative, Media, Data and Technology practices, which this position will be accountable for. Within this integrated model we are looking for a leader who has a very strong strategic mindset and who is seasoned in program development and communications. **Responsibilities** _What will the day-to-day work look like (Deliverables)?_ + Day-to-day management of a cross-functional, cross-agency team + Constant communications with senior agency leadership & client leadership + Managing existing scopes and identifying opportunity for incremental scopes + Assessing, praising and coaching inter-deparmental team members + Steward and shape strategic and creative output + Ensure best-in-class presentation of the agency’s work + Be accountable for flawless execution of strategic recommendations, roadmapping, and creative development The Citi business is a large, fast paced account. The Citi Global Brand business unit that this candidate will join resides in tandem with other business units that the agency manages for Citi including, Wealth Management, US Pesonal Banking, Sponsorships, Retail Services and CRM. The candidate will be required to understand the dynamics across the entire business and ensure appropriate alignment to the broad business agenda. **Qualifications** _What are the top qualifications the candidates should have?_ The candidate must be able to work in a matrixed environment and excel in communication and connecting dots. The role requires a strong collaborative mindset with an entrepreneurial work ethic. Superb communication and presentation skills are a must. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in Advertising or Consulting firms, or related client-side experience. Strong and intuitive strategic acumen is critical. Prior financial services experience is ideal, but not a mandate. + Strong leadership and interpersonal skills + Strong instincts for business and creative strategy, project planning, and navigating complex situations + Proven track record of managing a multi-faceted marketing programs inclusive of paid, owned, and earned strategies, experiential programs and content marketing + Familiarity connecting services / offerings to audiences and building go-to-market plans that are comprehensive and ownable + Ability to react swiftly in real time, pivot as new information is presented, and manage multiple workstreams + Proven client and team leadership abilities that will inspire internal and external partners + Creative problem solving mentality + Exceptional writing, speaking and presentation skills + Track record of developing integrated marketing programs and that link product and communications + At least 7+ years of managerial experience **Additional information** Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
