Vice President, Air Logistics- Northeast

Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our air logistics team is looking for a new Vice President, Air Logistics-Northeast. **Your Role** We are seeking a results-driven Vice President, Air Logistics- Northeast to lead key operations, drive growth, and enhance collaboration across branches. In this role, you will implement clear communication strategies, streamline processes, and ensure alignment with Kuehne+Nagel’s business goals. You will oversee gross profit growth, market pricing strategy, and third-party provider management while ensuring service levels exceed customer expectations. Additionally, you will drive team culture transformation, focusing on engagement, operational discipline, and execution excellence. With responsibility for key performance metrics and compliance, this position offers a high-impact opportunity for an experienced leader ready to deliver measurable results. **Your Responsibilities** + Responsible for clear communication strategies across the area in regards to their respective branches/departments + Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamlineorganizational processes + Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, materialefficiency, and facilities are in line with the organizations business plan and vision. + Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for special projects. + Transform and develop a team culture consistent with Kuehne+Nagel values; recognized for engagement, executionalexcellence, safe practices and process-honoring behaviors. + Responsible for managing Customer relationship together with the Sales organization and KN branches and ensuringthat service levels meet and exceed expectations. + Responsible to implement/monitor metrics and KPI's; participates in quarterly business reviews as required + Responsible for growth of gross profit and NPII. Determines and implements market pricing strategy + Adheres to and complies with all health & safety, quality, security, environmental, legal and regulatory requirements;company policies and procedures; + Support and coach the team to seek best negotiation and selection of a vast range of third-party providers fortransportation aligning with the strategic growth of the business. + Directing and managing external providers to achieve scorecard/metric expectations will require significant time to ensure accountability and meet continuous improvement cost/service expectations. **Your Skills and Experiences** + Minimum 8 years’ experience in Air logistics + BS/BA degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field from an accredited college/university; MBA orMA/MS in supply chain is a plus + Management skills: Ability to involve and coordinate internal and external resources, as well as delegate and supervise + Broad View: Has a broad understanding of the organization: strategy, structure, actions and how their aligned. + Adaptive: Manages to adapt her management methods to the dynamic and constantly changing environment of KN, hasfast-paces and flexible management capabilities. Able to successfully steer her team through change. + Strong Communicator: Has the ability to adapt her messages and form of communication to communicate effectively with different ranks and personas. + Networker: Uses her network in order to accomplish her goals. Able to navigate internal politics and harness relevantorganizational functions. + Technological Orientation : Open to learning and adopting new technologies to make work more efficient. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
