Comscore is seeking a Vice President of Brand Strategy & Marketing to help refine and elevate our brand identity, drive how we tell our story, and communicate our value proposition across paid and owned channels. As the steward of Comscore’s voice, the VP will oversee initiatives that align brand strategy with business goals, translating our product capabilities into meaningful solutions that reinforce who we are to the core. This individual must possess the skills of a proven leader, with experience across major channels and be able to navigate the dynamic and fragmented media landscape. The VP will report directly to Comscore’s Chief Marketing Officer and partner closely with the commercial team and product marketing to develop compelling narratives and storytelling frameworks that support sales enablement and client engagement.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Define and Execute Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive brand marketing strategy that establishes Comscore as the industry leader in measurement and data innovation.
+ Brand Stewardship: Elevate and refine Comscore’s brand identity, ensuring consistent, compelling, and innovative visual design across all marketing materials, digital platforms, and events.
+ Sales Marketing Leadership: Oversee the sales marketing team to ensure alignment across the sales organization that drive the development of tools, content, and messaging to support client acquisition and retention efforts.
+ Narrative Development: Collaborate with the commercial team to create and maintain a compelling brand narrative that resonates with our target audiences: customers, prospects, partners, and employees.
+ Content Marketing: Lead the creation of thought leadership, case studies, and other content that showcases Comscore’s capabilities, solutions, and unique position in the marketplace to elevate the brands value to clients.
+ Integrated Campaigns: Develop cross-platform marketing campaigns to elevate the Comscore brand across linear TV, digital, OEM/streaming, and emerging platforms.
+ Internal Communications: Inspire and align employees through strong internal messaging that reinforces company mission, values, and goals.
+ Build and lead high-performing teams across brand marketing, sales marketing, content marketing, and communications that not only produce effective results, but foster a safe place for collaboration and creativity.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Research, and Sales, to drive messaging consistency and ensure impactful delivery across all channels.
+ Budget Management: Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Proven Experience: 10+ years of leadership experience in brand marketing, corporate communications, or sales marketing, ideally within a technology, media, or data-focused organization. Player-coach mindset is essential.
+ Design thinker and inspiring storyteller with experience shaping brand, messaging, and content.
+ Increase brand awareness through development and implementation of a cohesive marketing plan–oversee and set goals for internal teams٫ both long and short term.
+ Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of the media landscape across linear/traditional TV, digital, and OEM/streaming platforms, with an added emphasis on measurement capabilities and strategy.
+ Strategic Vision: Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messages that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
+ Data-Driven Mindset: Proficiency in using analytics to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI to internal/external stakeholders.
+ Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire and lead teams, foster collaboration, and align diverse stakeholders around common goals. Systems thinker who can create scalable programs and operating models.
+ Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment by adjusting to changing priorities and working effectively within a collaborative team.
+ Salary: $190,000 - $250,000 Commensurate with Experience
