What You'll Be Doing:

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy in alignment with corporate objectives. Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and potential partners for growth opportunities.  

Market and Competitive Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions and identify new business prospects.

Client and Partner Relations:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key, partners, and stakeholders.Negotiate high-value contracts and partnerships that align with company objectives.

Business Development Activities:

Oversee the development and execution of business proposals, presentations, and contracts.Lead negotiations to secure new business deals and partnerships.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with other senior leaders ensuring cohesive strategic execution.Provide insights and feedback to internal teams based on market and client interactions. 

Performance Management and Reporting:

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to business development initiatives.Prepare and present regular reports to your supervisor.

Networking and Industry Engagement:

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and identify new opportunities.Maintain a high level of industry knowledge and remain informed about best practices and emerging trends.

Supervisory Requirements: 

Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all team members.Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of the department.Actively monitor the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives.Involve, as appropriate, all team members to achieve goals.Effectively communicate changes and noteworthy events within the department or company to team members.Handle difficult situations with team members directly, using appropriate discretion and Human Resource advice to show respect for the individual.Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas.Reinforces a team approach across functions; support and solicit input from team members at all levels with the company.Maintain confidentiality of business information, including Protected Health Information (PHI), as required by HIPAA and company policy.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Excellent leadership and team management abilities.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

Experience and Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.Six years’ experience in similar role required.Master’s in Business Administration or other advanced degree preferred.

Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect.Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
