The VP Business Development, Digital Partners & Real time payments has accountability for creating the market / client partner engagement strategies and secure business growth from Digital Partners & Real Time payments articulating the local market requirements for successful commercialization.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and grow the real-time payment (RTP) business in Philippines, reporting to both Country Manager and Regional RTP Lead
2. Responsible for the overall ownership of the P&L
3. Lead industry-wide stakeholders relationship management, including with regulator, scheme, bank association, Individual banks and Fintechs as well as RTP operator
4. Identify, secure and implement new business development initiatives
5. Track and manage operational performance, issues, and resolution
6. Formulate, prepare and deliver internal management reports on the business
7. Work with regional & global team to trouble shoot and implement new business initiatives / payment use cases
About you
1.\tDeep knowledge of payment industry, preferably with experience in real-time payment / push payment with strong understanding of the roles/responsibilities of different stakeholders in the RTP business
2.\tExtensive C-suite and regulatory engagement track record, yet willing to roll-up own sleeve to get key priorities executed with a small team
3.\tDemonstrable know-how and experience in operating within Philippines payment industry. Relationships with payment industry leaders is highly valued.
4.\tHas account management / sell-side working experience, with understanding of strengths/limitations of indirect B2B2C business
5.\t“Jack of all trades” capabilities, including external stakeholder management, strategic business development, commercials value management, operation management
