We are looking for a Vice President, Business Development to join our leadership team and drive our business development efforts in the US and globally. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with on-target clients, leveraging your industry contacts, events and associations, a “finder network,” and more. You will also collaborate with the management team, marketing, and other internal resources to pitch and respond to RFP opportunities and ensure a smooth transition of new accounts to the account management team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy that aligns with the company vision and goals
• Research and identify potential clients that fit the company's ideal client profile and value proposition
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects
• Effectively reach out to decision-makers and influencers through various channels, such as email, phone, social media, events, etc. to explore and gain new business opportunities
• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at prospective clients
• Understand the client's business challenges, goals, and needs, and propose relevant and innovative solutions
• Create and deliver compelling and customized proposals and presentations that showcase the company's capabilities and value proposition
• Negotiate and close contracts with new clients, ensuring alignment with the company's policies and standards
• Coordinate and collaborate with the Global Strategy and Planning team, management team, marketing, and other internal resources to support the business development process
• Provide valuable feedback and insights to the management team on market trends, client expectations, and competitive intelligence
• Ensure a smooth handover of new accounts to the account management team, and maintain communication and relationship with the clients
• Monitor and report on the performance and progress of the business development activities and  outcomes

 

Supervisory Responsibilities
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities

The salary range for this position is $175,000-$200,000 base + incentive. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or related field; or equivalent work experienceMinimum requirement of at least 10 years of proven track record of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the digital media industryMust have extensive network of contacts and relationships with decision-makers and influencers at potential clients in the US and globallyStrong knowledge of the digital media landscape, trends, and best practices is essentialExceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, a mustAbility to create and deliver persuasive and customized proposals and presentations that address the client's needs and goals, requiredProven track record of closing net new business, a must

Travel
This position will require up to 25% of regularly scheduled travel.
