Vice President, Chief Architect, Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions

Job Requisition ID #

24WD80097

Position Overview

Fundamental technology change continues to march forward at an accelerating pace. Cloud services, cloud data models, continuous delivery, quantum computing and artificial intelligence are just some examples of how technology and practices continue to evolve. Meanwhile, customer expectations for trust, performance, and reducing time to value are increasing.

For product development teams to fully realize the possibilities of new technologies and meet increasing customer expectations, the underlying technical architecture must consider these changes. Technical architecture must provide flexibility, resilience, scalability, and performance.

Forward-looking architecture will empower product development teams, reduce delivery cycles, lead to adoption of new practices, drive toward continuous delivery, and ultimately reduce the time to value for customers.

The Vice President, Chief Architect, Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions will partner with product development teams to both accelerate these technology changes from the inside and relay their needs for acceleration to other parts of Autodesk, championing those needs on behalf of Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions.

We are a remote-first workplace. You’ll work with teammates across the globe and will travel up to 10-15% of the time for face-to-face meetings like conferences, team offsites, and customers. If you prefer office life, we have offices in numerous cites including San Francisco, Portland, Denver, Boston, and Atlanta.
