Vice President, Chief Information Officer
OVERVIEW:
Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Vice President, Chief Information Officer to join the Information Technology team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. This role will report into the Marc Jacobs Chief Supply Chain & Transformation Officer and will collaborate closely with the LVMH Group Chief Information Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
STRATEGY:Develop, execute, & continuously improve the global technology strategy and transformation to support the MARC JACOBS growth ambitions.Develop strategic and transformation plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, front & back-end solutions, including web and mobile services.Apply Group standard Architectures, (main platforms, technology architecture & infrastructure) to ensure functionality, security & efficiency of MARC JACOBS IT Landscape.Be the Business IT Leader, liaising with MARC JACOBS Executive Committee and the Group.Lead the IT infrastructures, applications Rationalization and pilot IT for Business Programs.
BUSINESS SUPPORT:Ensure our Technology roadmap in line with MARC JACOBS business strategy, leveraging the IT teams and partner’s landscape. Collaboration with the Group allows acceleration and capabilities to support the Back Office and Front office ambitions. Ensure platform stability & reliability to maintain optimal customer experiences.Ensure the Implementation of a consistent technical and applications foundations based on the Group recommendations and Business priorities to speed up the MARC JACOBS Production, Logistics, Supply Chain and Retail/Omnichannel JourneysPartner cross-functionally to assess short/long-term needs & use resources to reach to Business objectives.Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform improvements & adjustments to technology & overall solutions.Provide deep technology insights to the Senior Leadership Team and influence strategic business decisions, with ability to dive deep into technical details as required.
OPERATIONS & PROCESSES:Drive the implementation of the Global Group IT Operating model in MARC JACOBS to leverage our scale & best practices across the world. Manage existing Core Models (SAP, SIRH…) & new ones (web platform, loyalty, etc.)Cybersecurity: guarantees business continuity and cyber resilience through close partnership with the Global Group Cyber Security organization. Coach and ensure the implementation of the right cybersecurity organization and guidelines.Implement the technology governance framework, underlying policies, standards & guidelines.Manage and implement integrations with 3rd-party technology platforms.Lead the development of software system projects ensuring planning & budgets are met & manage risk.Lead IT Organization change management across technology and business organizations.Identify new and emerging technologies/trends & bring ideas on how we can leverage them to continually innovate. Watch market and competition, including online pure players.
TEAMS:Lead technical and functional IT teams.Integrate MARCJACOBS in the Global IT Community into a high-performing team, collaborating across functions & geographies.Lead team transformation, including product-centric approach, extensive move to public cloud approach and modern enterprise architecture design.Support with team organization, recruitment, development, upskilling & mentoring.QUALIFICATIONS:Strong educational foundation.Over 10 years’ technology leadership experience, leading both product and cross-functional teams, in global environments.Experience in growing, leading, and scaling high-performing technical teams with a code-quality mindset, with responsibility for application development, security, product control, architecture, and infrastructure operations.Deep understanding of agile development methodologies.Experience working with third-party integrations.Significant experience in software architecture and building digital products from early stage through to scaling and maturity.Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.Ability to make good & timely decisions to take the organization forward with a consistent commitment to meeting stretching objectives & results, operating with energy and passion for the collective good.Ability to interact trustfully & openly with Maison COMEX, diverse groups of people, building relationships within and beyond the organization. Working collectively, highlighting wins, celebrating and crediting the team and individuals for successes.
SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: 
The compensation for this position ranges from $240,000-$300,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
