Here’s what you’d do:
The Vice President, Chief Information Officer (CIO) leads the organization's technology strategy, infrastructure, and systems. This role partners with functional business leaders to drive productivity with technology enhancements, oversees the IT department, implements technological innovations, ensures data security, and manages the company’s digital transformation efforts. The VP plays a pivotal role in leveraging technology to drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and increase operational efficiency.
You’d be responsible for:
Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goalsLead digital transformation initiatives to drive business growth and improve processesCollaborate with other senior executives to define business strategies and objectives that rely on technologyManage IT budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure efficient operationsOversee data governance, ensuring data privacy, integrity, and security are maintainedEstablish policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulationsManage cybersecurity efforts to protect company data and systems from potential threatsEnsure business continuity through effective disaster recovery and IT risk management plansOversee the day-to-day management of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performanceDrive the integration and optimization of enterprise systems (HRIS, ERP, CRM, etc.)Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, advising on their potential for improving business processes or creating new opportunitiesLead the development and implementation of digital tools, applications, and platformsFoster a culture of innovation within the IT department and across the organizationBuild and lead a high-performing IT team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunitiesRecruit, train, and retain top IT talent to support the organization's technology goalsEnsure effective communication between the IT department and other business units.Manage relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and service providersPartner with Procurement to negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of quality IT products and servicesServe as a liaison between technology and business stakeholders, ensuring technology initiatives meet business needsDevelop and implement metrics and KPIs to assess IT performance, including system uptime, project timelines, and budget adherenceYou might be a good fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA, MS in IT, or similar) is preferred10-15 years of experience in IT management, with a significant portion in a leadership roleProven experience in developing and executing IT strategies that drive business valueExperience with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and managing large-scale IT initiativesStrong background in IT governance, cybersecurity, data management, and enterprise architectureStrong understanding of business processes, digital transformation, and emerging technologiesExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrategic thinking with the ability to align technology with business objectivesProven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and lead technology-driven changesHere’s what to know about working here:
