Essential Functions
Engage executives and management team to understand talent needs of the businesses and define strategy.Ensure effective use and implementation of enterprise‐wide HR and talent initiatives.Serve as the champion for employee engagement and retention. Set consistent compensation and benefits practices within Southeast Health System.Build, develop and lead a team of HR professionals within Southeast Health System.Build, develop and lead a team of operational leaders within the Human Resources DivisionDrive effective leader and employee communication initiatives.Ensure operational excellence, monitoring, and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of leadership and organizational development.Uphold all compliance standards, including Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Department of Labor, HR policies and other regulatory requirements.Uses relevant human resources metrics to measure, benchmark and improve the performance of the services provided by the HR divisionDevelops policies and procedures to support process and performance improvements in conjunction with hospital leaders.Maintains overall accountability for budget development and compliance.Ensures that organization fiscal standards and expectations are met.Provides overall direction through assigned Directors for personnel actions including recruiting, new hire actions, interviewing and selection of staff, performance reviews and salary determinations for the department’s management and staff.Performs other duties as requested by primary manager that do not compromise moral code of conduct or protocols set in place for patient or employee safetySupervised PositionsManager, Talent AcquisitionManager, Employee RelationsManager, Compensation and BenefitsManager, Organization DevelopmentDirector, Child Development CenterDirector, Spiritual CareDirector, Human Resources- ACOMQualifications
Minimum Education RequiredFifteen plus (15+) years’ experience with increasing levels of HR management.Proven experience delivering on strategic HR Initiatives in wide scale change initiatives.Minimum Education PreferredAt least three (3) years in healthcare related HR experience as the lead HR executive reporting in a work environment reflective of the scope and complexity of the Southeast Health System.Minimum Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field.Minimum Experience PreferredMaster’s degree preferred.Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Society for Human Resources Management, Senior Certified Professional (SHRM, SCP) certification (strongly preferred).Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Maintain current, certifications attained;Must be able to read, write, and speak English; proficiency in other languages a plus;Must possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbal;Solid writing skills with an ability to write/edit all kinds of copy that clearly articulates the organization’s mission, vision, and values to both internal and external audiences;Must possess strong presentation skills to present required data in an accurate and appealing manner;Must possess substantial interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with board members, executives and managers, employees, physicians, and volunteers at all levels of the organization;Demonstrates commitment to organizations five (5) priorities and Six Ground RulesPerson in this position is required to understand, agree upon and follow our Six Ground Rules:No excuses.We are a team.Bring up your ideas.Poor performance will be addressed.‘That’s not my job’ is not acceptableManage Up.ShiftDayShift Details
