Great opportunity for driving strategic communications!
The Vice President of Communications will be a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing Alight's comprehensive communications strategy. This role oversees both internal and external communications, including public relations, crisis management, and client communications. The VP will lead executive communications and collaborate closely with Investor Relations to ensure consistent and effective messaging to all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing a cohesive communications strategy aligned with Alight's vision, mission, and business goals.Overseeing corporate storytelling to ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.Managing crisis communication strategies to mitigate risks and protect the organization's reputation.Collaborating with Strategic Accounts, Client Success, and Marketing teams to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.Working closely with the Investor Relations team to align messaging for earnings calls, financial reports, and shareholder communications.Leading public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, thought leadership, and brand reputation management.Drafting speeches, presentations, and messages for senior executives to effectively represent Alight’s voice and values.Building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing communications team through a period of transformation.Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience **desired**.Demonstrate extensive experience in corporate communications, including significant time in a senior leadership capacity.Possess a proven track record in leading both internal and external communications for large organizations.Be experienced in executive communications and working directly with C-suite leaders.Have familiarity with investor relations and financial communications best practices.Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrate exceptional crisis management and problem-solving capabilities.Be a strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically when necessary.Compensation and Benefits
