Deutsche Bank’s commercial real estate (CRE) mortgage warehouse lending business line provides loan-on-loan financing for CRE mortgage loans originated by non-bank lenders backed by strong sponsorship and institutional capital. The business is looking to add fully dedicated professional to its deal team to support and grow the business in various aspects of warehouse facility origination, structuring, pricing, risk management, closing, and post-closing warehouse line asset management.

This position is in-person in New York City. You will be seconded to Deutsche Bank and work out of its office.

Essential Job Functions: 

Assume responsibility for the various business aspects of CRE warehouse lending and overall growth of this business line 

Structure and develop warehouse financing facilities for clients CRE mortgages, tailoring solutions to their specific asset portfolios and financing needs 

Work with internal and external counsel to draft, review and negotiate various documents such as term sheets, facility agreements and other origination documentation 

Manage the approval and closing process including assisting with KYC, internal legal, and credit committee/risk approval 

Conduct thorough risk analysis and evaluate risk exposure. Consider the bank’s risk acceptance framework, its clients, and their assets 

To be successful you will need: 

Detailed knowledge of the CRE warehouse lending business 

Strong negotiation skills 

Sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency 

Ability to work in a team environment, yet to think independently and generate quality work product  

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines 

Attention to detail  

Strong business writing and presentation skills 

Required work experience & education: 

An undergraduate or graduate degree with course work in finance and real estate 

At least six years of experience in CRE lending, including in warehouse lending

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$175,000.00 - $225,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
