PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Vice President, Credit Card Engagement at our Tysons, Virginia location. The primary purpose of this position is to be a strategic growth force multiplier of PenFed’s credit card program through all manner of engagement opportunities. This position will oversee the ideation, development, and implementation of campaigns, analytics, and targeting strategies to maximize credit card growth, revenue, and channel engagement. This position will optimize channel engagement campaign performance and Return on Investment. In addition, the Vice President will make recommendations to promote revenue growth, brand awareness, and member engagement. Lead and execute a long-term credit card engagement strategy focused on market differentiation and competitiveness. This means owning the overall B2B engagement strategy and campaigns. Explore, develop, and implement creative and critical campaigns to deliver impact results. Work closely and in tandem with business development and card-specific strategic relationships and partnerships across key industry verticals, to enable broader portfolio offerings and value to card members. Partner with Sales leadership, Marketing, Corporate Engagement, and product teams to optimize campaigns, meet loan volume objectives and maximize ROI. Manage ongoing market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and ensure product set competitiveness and relevance in market. Conceive and develop experiential assets for cardmember events, to amplify product value and appeal in market. Define and oversee full prospect lifecycle to improve affinity referral source and client engagement. Oversee implementation of engagement automation tools to support channel engagement strategies. Actively follow industry trends and ensure team is assessing, and strategically acting on, competitive and market changes as they occur. Plan, organize and implement changes to optimize the Return on Investment (ROI) and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement campaigns and initiatives. Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor's Degree required in Communications, Business, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or Business Analytics. Master’s Degree or MBA preferred. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in credit cards with a focus on strategy & management, omni-channel marketing, and partnerships development & management. Minimum of five (5) years of management experience, preferably in financial services. Strategic vision with a deep understanding of card member needs and market trends. Demonstrated experience in new business & partnerships development and relationship management. Knowledge of content engagement, digital engagement, event engagement, email engagement and other methods used to engage prospects in a B2B engagement environment. Ability to plan, direct and advise cross-functional teams on highly complex and sensitive projects and prepare and present technical reports. Strong written and verbal communication skills; high degree of proficiency in synthesizing and communicating data from a variety of disciplines. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and manage priorities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other graphics or presentation software; familiarity with statistical software desirable. Knowledge and experience within the financial services industry, preferably with an emphasis on mortgage or real estate. Supervisory Responsibility This position will supervise employees. Licenses and Certifications There are no additional licenses and/or certifications required. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. *Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.* Travel Ability to travel to various worksites, industry events, and be on-call is required.
