What you'll do As we launch a groundbreaking new category and product offering called Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM), we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Experiential Events to lead and implement our global events strategy. The VP of Experiential Events will play a critical role in shaping, planning, and implementing high-impact events that enhance our brand visibility, engage key partners, and drive business growth. As events are largely a manifestation of our brand, this role is key in changing the way people experience Docusign. It will require a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of event marketing, operations, and team leadership, capable of delivering innovative experiences. This is a people manager role reporting to the GVP, Growth Marketing. Responsibility Redesign the global event marketing portfolio and audience strategy with a tiered events approach, tailored audience criteria, and clear objectives Develop VIP, invite-only executive experiences at Tier 1 global events, including exclusive previews of upcoming Docusign roadmaps, and thought leadership Leverage Thought Leaders as we develop C-Suite content and engaging events Enhance relationship building and pipeline progression in top markets with focused executive dinners, EBC programs and hospitality suites Own and lead our hospitality events, in order to drive business goals of such investments. Relaunch our EBC with compelling reasons for VP+ attendees to come to Docusign and drive value, volume and velocity of deals Partner with Sales to drive participation and engagement of the EBC in order to progress pipeline to close - driving more visionary conversations, while focused on maturing pipeline. Create dedicated Deal and Exec Sponsor programs to target identified CXOs Prioritize strategic engagements for top accounts, focusing on sponsor program accounts Facilitate end-to-end planning, production, and execution of all major company events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person), ensuring they are on-brand, within budget, and deliver exceptional attendee experiences Be responsible for all logistics, including venue selection, budget allocation, vendor management, on-site staff coordination, and contingency planning Lead the development of promotional strategies for events, collaborating with marketing teams to drive event attendance, engagement, and post-event amplification Innovate and introduce new event formats, experiences, and technologies that differentiate our brand in the marketplace Drive global consistency and predictability in all of our 1st party Momentum events. Use data and feedback to continuously improve event strategies and execution. Report on event success and insights to senior leadership, providing recommendations for future improvements Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing events team, driving performance, professional development, and innovation Cultivate a culture of cross-team collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the team Maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and contractors to deliver top-tier event services and production Build strategy and implement key internal events such as Sales and Company Kick Off, Sales Club, company-wide town halls, and annual leadership meetings Partner with leaders and collaborators to implement critical company engagements Produce on-site activations of these events Increase awareness of the IAM category among the C-Suite, leading to a shift in their awareness and perception of DocuSign as their business transformation partner Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 15+ years of marketing experience Experience developing and implementing successful regional marketing strategies Experience leading and inspiring a high-performing team Experience handling marketing budgets and delivering on financial targets Project management skills and attention to detail Preferred Open to candidates in the NY area Strong analytical skills and the ability to transfer data into actionable insights Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in performance marketing tools and platforms Ability to thrive in a fast-pace environment Knowledge of regional market dynamics and cultural nuances BS/BA degree or equivalent in marketing experience Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $258,600.00 - $410,450.00 base salary Illinois and Colorado: $244,100.00 - $344,750.00 base salary Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $244,100.00 - $365,250.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
