Eaton’s Mobility Group is hiring a dynamic and passionate Vice President, Global Supply Chain in Southfield, Michigan.
What you’ll do:Reporting to the Global President for the Mobility Group, the Vice President, Global Supply Chain will oversee supply chain management and materials planning for a $3.5B business segment with 15,000 employees across 28 sites.
Responsibilities:
Optimize delivery costs for raw and finished goods, managing $1.8B in spend.Provide strategic leadership and structure for supply chain efforts.Build strong partnerships between manufacturing sites, procurement, and suppliers.Collaborate with executive leadership on sourcing and risk management.Resolve supplier issues and support plant start-ups and closures.Maximize commercial negotiations and material purchase agreements.Optimize indirect spending and logistics costs.Focus on "Total Cost of Ownership" and strategic plans.Qualifications:The Vice President, Global Supply Chain will have at least 15 years of progressive supply chain experience. They will lead a regional team of 7 direct reports and a broader team of over 25. This dynamic leader will build organizational capability and foster collaboration across regions, product lines, and the global procurement organization, aligning supply chain with the Mobility Group's strategic plan.
Key Areas of Focus:
Develop and maintain critical relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams.Develop a robust strategy around material management across all of Mobility's domestic and global locations.Drive SIOP discipline, ensuring compliance with Eaton’s model and chairing intercompany SIOP.Demonstrate leadership success across multiple regions.Oversee global inventory management, create entitlement models, and drive best practices for efficiency.Focus on results, digitalization efforts, and executive presentation skills.Ensure decisions align with "Total Cost of Ownership" and strategic plans.Coach and develop talent, promoting Eaton’s Leadership Attributes and Values.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or engineering from an accredited institution.Master’s degree preferred but not required.
