Inviting applications for the role of Vice President, Hitech Segment Advisory Leader
As an Industry Advisory Leader for Hi-tech, you will be responsible for growing the industry advisory practice to an aspirational $100MM book of business and enabling further strategic growth across Genpact. This role reports into the Global Advisory Leader. This is a senior role requiring deep industry expertise in the Hitech segment, a forward-thinking mindset, experience in finance and supply chain sectors, and a deep understanding of advanced technology solutions
Responsibilities
· Strategic Leadership and Vision
o Define and lead the global strategy for the Hitech advisory practice, ensuring alignment with the overall Genpact strategy and that of the given Industry Unit (PL) Leader
o Lead the development of industry relevant service offerings which can be scaled, ensuring innovation and adaptability to client and market demands
o Shape long-term business strategies, focusing on market trends, emerging technologies, and client needs to ensure competitiveness and future growth
o Develop end to end value chain view for the industry that communicates how Genpact can bring value to clients
· Business Growth and Expansion
o Drive business development initiatives by identifying new markets, services, and clients to grow the advisory business
o Building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, tracking leads, and ensuring that potential projects are followed through to successful engagement
o Deliver bookings and revenue growth to target via conversion of pipeline opportunities
o Collaborate with regional and global leadership to expand service offerings and enter new markets
o Identify opportunities for expanding Genpact services to drive business value across client engagement
o Develop go-to-market strategies and execute plans to grow the firm’s presence across diverse industries and geographies
· Client Engagement and Relationship Management
o Build and nurture trusted advisory relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders in key client organizations
o Establish strong relationships in key prospective clients to understand their priorities and the state of their business; use that knowledge to provide strategic recommendations that enable the overall success of their business
o Act as the primary point of contact for high-value global clients, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction
o Provide strategic counsel on business transformation, leveraging domain and advanced technology expertise and emerging trends to solve critical business challenges
· Thought Leadership and Industry Influence
o Serve as an industry thought leader, representing the organization at global forums, conferences, and industry events
o Publish insights and lead discussions on cutting-edge topics such as AI, technology, data strategy, and digital transformation
o Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the development of forward-thinking solutions that position the firm as a leader in advisory services
o Keep teams and services apprised of relevant [insert vertical] trends and opportunities that can add value to our clients and accelerate our growth
· Operational Excellence and Project Oversight
o Operate with a practitioner mindset, overseeing the delivery of large-scale, complex advisory projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and client expectations
o Ensure operational efficiency by driving common advisory methodologies and frameworks, developing and driving best practices, and maintaining high standards of project delivery
o Drive resource efficiency and gross margin through the optimization of resource utilization
· Cross-functional and Global Collaboration
o Work closely with global teams across various business units (e.g., finance, supply chain, technology) to deliver integrated solutions to clients
o Promote cross-border collaboration, leveraging global talent and capabilities to solve complex, multinational client problems
o Ensure seamless integration of services, balancing advisory services with technology, data, and industry expertise
o Collaborate with senior executives and board members to influence global decision-making, share insights, and help shape overall company strategy
o Act as a key advisor to the executive team on the latest trends in advanced technology and other emerging areas impacting business
· Team Leadership and Talent Development
o Responsible for the full end to end lifecycle of entire team including hiring, onboarding, assessing, and evaluating performance and exiting team members
o Provide leadership to the team through coaching, mentoring and development of staff
o Consult with leadership and HR on sensitive and difficult employee situations and issues
o Build meaningful relationships and community within the team
o Ensure new staff are trained in an efficient and effective way
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
· Bachelor's or Master's degree / MBA in one of the following disciplines: business, finance, supply chain, accounting, analytics, engineering, technology, GenAI or data management; MBA preferred
· Extensive track record in a leadership position, within a consulting or advisory organization, driving transformation for large organizations
· Demonstrable expertise in relevant industry and applicable domains – finance and supply chain
· Thorough understanding of advanced technology and analytical trends including AI, machine learning, cloud computing and enterprise technology systems
· Strong leadership, vision-setting, and strategic thinking skills. Proven ability to guide high-level strategy across complex, global environments
· Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives and senior stakeholders
· Creative and forward-thinking in delivering technology solutions to business problems.
· Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and business units, integrating various disciplines to deliver holistic client solutions
· Proven experience managing global, cross-functional teams and delivering solutions across multiple geographies
· Demonstrated success in growing a business unit, service line or practice through innovation, client relationships and market understanding
· Experience with effectively influencing C-level customers and internal stakeholders.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $200,000-$250,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by several factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
