Because we know that heat arises the intersection of complementary forces, our professionals come from myriad disciplines and backgrounds: data, analytics, and insights, content and creative production, communications and strategy, finance and marketing, and sociology, psychology, and other liberal arts disciplines. **Overview** The Vice President, Video Investment will be responsible for activating digital and linear video strategic plan development and all aspects of implementation. **Responsibilities** + Assist with planning and implementation for client accounts across digital and traditional media + Plays a leading role in all aspects of campaign management including vendor liaison and reporting + Oversee, train and mentor junior team in negotiating, billing, reporting, stewarding, trafficking, analytics and research + Meet all due dates for buys, post analyses, and assigned projects; help team set up project deadlines to achieve all timelines + Assist in presentation of data, insights and media to clients Intimate knowledge of consumer habits & touchpoints, i.e. linear, digital, video + Craft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities and place appropriate value + Manage Vendor Billing: insertion orders, monthly billing reports, discrepancy resolution, and reconciliations + Draw actionable insights based off syndicated data, Nielsen, ComScore Build relationships with vendors to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan + Create dynamic presentations that effectively communicate to our clients + Assist in development of cost per points, competitive checks, though leadership and group projects + Prepare and deliver buying and or digital trafficking specs and guidelines + Communicate regularly with salespeople and negotiate to maintain or improve the integrity of the buys as they are stewarded **Qualifications** + 10+ years of linear and digital and video media buying/planning experience + Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal skills, detail-orientation, presentation and follow-though skills + Must have strong analytical, negotiating, and quantitative skills + Must be hard-working, resourceful and thrive in a fast-paced environment + Must possess/develop a strong understanding of the technology marketplace including awareness of key publishers, products and trends + Experience with Upfronts and Kids & Family Marketplace preferred + Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
