Vice President, Issuer Services & Operations (Hybrid)

The Vice President, Issuer Services & Operations is responsible for planning and overseeing enterprise-level support and service activities for company products and services for a designated client or group of clients. They will ensure quality service and operational performance within the parameters of program and delivery standards.

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

Develop client relationship and understanding of client business and product installations to identify service needs, plan service delivery and drive use of proactive service and support mechanisms to reduce client downtime and support costs

Act as single point of client contact to coordinate resolution of service incidents and escalation of technical issues

Collaborate with Sales and Support groups to demonstrate value of support offering to client and identify opportunities for expanded support business

Achieve goals through the work of others, as well as providing leadership and direction through managers

Management responsibilities include performance appraisals, pay reviews, training and development

Job focus is on managing others and applying operational or strategic management skills

Be accountable for the performance and results of related disciplines

Executes functional business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy. Decisions are guided by functional strategy and priorities.

Lead through subordinate managers of managers, execute functional business plans, and contribute to the development of functional strategy

Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced analytical thought and judgment

Be guided by functional strategy, impact result of part of a function, division or region or facilitate the work done by other functions by providing support to impact the business


Interpersonal Skills
Negotiate and influence the opinions of others within the business unit and in external organizations, exercise sensitivity to the audience

Education

Degree in Business Administration or Community College Diploma or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge of the Canadian Securities Act and its regulations.
