Job Description:

The Role

We are looking for a Finance and Fund Oversight (FFO) Product Area Leader, who will blend deep product management expertise with a dedication to delivering client value. You will define and evolve the product areas' vision, strategy and mission and ensure continued alignment and prioritization of work with other key initiatives.

In an Agile structure, you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to resolve product area level strategic priorities based on an understanding of business partner needs and enable execution of these priorities by the cross-functional squads aligned to your product area. You will support these squads as they improve value delivered through prioritization, creativity, innovation, collaboration, and decision making and encourage them to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation and learn from failures while celebrating success. You are committed to developing your own knowledge and bring the latest thinking to your role to empower others with that knowledge.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of proven professional experience including leading product teams driving the work of technology teams to achieve outstanding product delivery.Financial services concepts and experience is a key differentiator for you. You have proven experience building product roadmaps that automate and streamline complex workflows with many integration points.Experience engaging with and presenting to senior internal and external clients and partners.You are a committed, inspirational leader, capable of setting strategic direction and encouraging others to deliver results and impact to achieve that strategy.You have senior level experience defining strategic roadmaps and leading the development of solutions and offerings aligned with and in support of the strategic direction of the business.You align the product vision with broader business objectives and ensure squads work toward those goals.You have strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with which you influence and engage across Fidelity and at all levels of the organization.You excel at creating teams of highly motivated members who feel ownership and accountability for the outcomes they deliver.Compelling enterprise-wide alignment through collaboration, knowledge sharing and breaking down silos to achieve the best results for Fidelity.Working with technology area and other product area leaders to develop roadmaps, drive consistency in user experience, and minimize redundancy.

The Team

The FFO technology organization crafts all the technology systems used to support activities within the Asset Management Finance and Fund Oversight organization. In this area we deliver crucial capabilities for Asset Management including Board Reporting and Operations, Treasury systems, Investment Professional compensation systems, and Liquidity Risk management systems. We help our business partners provide proactive fiduciary oversight of the funds, tax, policy adherence, fund operations, financial statement certification, fair value, and many other important activities. Through our Agile practices, we have developed an operating rhythm that ensures we are consistently delivering the highest value work for our stakeholders and partners. We have an effective planning and prioritization approach with great partnership from the business leaders we support.
