Description:

Purpose

Accountable for leading, guiding, & directing one or more Clinically Integrated Networks under the oversite of the RHM CEO and the SVP of Clinical Integration and Physician Services. Participates in the development of short-term and long-range goals, objectives and operational plans which will enable the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) to successfully carryout its strategic plans. Directs, deploys & executes the strategies to achieve established goals. Responsible for consistent operating performance and achieving financial goals. Identifies, defines & solves complex problems that impact the management & direction of the business. Provide administrative oversight for planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling overall operations and professional/support services of the organization. Collaborates with Acute hospital, Continuing Care and Medical Group Leadership to ensure consistency and integration of strategy & operations across the region. Maintaining awareness of new industry developments & standards.  Provides decision support, operations &/or optimization leadership focus.  Responsible for effective leadership and management of the delivery of healthcare services and operations across the medical group.

Leadership

Accountable for the selection, evaluation, and overall success of the functional leadership teams

Providing advice, guidance, and leadership to direct reports in developing strategies and in the achievement of performance goals.

Strategic Support & Accountability 

Collaborates in system-wide strategy development and deployment of functional area priorities and initiatives 

Responsible for supporting regional efforts to comply with priorities

Organization-wide focal point for establishing functional strategies and governance over financials and staffing

Accountable for communication between Medical Group leaders

Direction and Growth

Provides leadership and guidance to leadership teams, fostering collaborative planning, innovation and decision-making ensuring the achievement of financial, operational, and strategic plans with a focus on excellence in people-centered care in a variety of delivery settings.​

Champions change and improvement - seeks out and employs effective change management and performance improvement techniques and tools.​

Leading standardization/systemness and optimization of policy, process, methodology, establishing a national community of practice.

Oversee Vendor/Contract Labor Management including centralizing strategy and optimizing spend.

Operational Delivery

Directs operations to achieve forecasted results and other financial criteria and to preserve the capital funds invested in the organization. Evaluates financials and workforce management metrics regularly and systematically.

Supports efforts to improve service efficiencies that drive increased quality and responsiveness to marketplace needs.

Responsible for measuring and reporting KPIs/metrics and value delivery  

Providing advice, guidance, and leadership for the colleague life cycle 

Maintains a Working Knowledge of applicable federal, state & local laws / regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct, as well as other policies, procedures & guidelines to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior & safe work practices. 

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Health Administration, business public health or related field.

Minimum of five (10) years of management experience, to include but not limited to experience in a director level or relevant senior leadership role within a CIN.  

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

 Medical Degree preferred.
