Vice President, Portfolio Marketing
The Vice President of Portfolio Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of marketing activities that convey our value propositions and engage target audiences effectively in both SMB and Enterprise. The role will report to the SVP of Growth Marketing and will be accountable for development of persona definitions, value propositions, and development of sales content. The VP of Portfolio Marketing will work closely with sales, the product, performance and commercial teams, as well as other key stakeholders to ensure our portfolio and Go-to-market messaging and strategy aligns with market opportunities and customer expectations.
We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or from our offices in Durham, NC; New York, NY; Austin, TX; or Bethesda, MD. Primary Duties:Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive solution marketing strategy that supports business goals, drives market growth, and clearly communicates value propositions to target audiences.Solution Development and Positioning: Define and develop integrated solutions that address specific customer pain points, craft compelling messaging, and conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.Go-to-Market Strategy: Implement go-to-market strategies for solution launches, ensure consistent marketing messages, and oversee the creation of high-impact marketing collateral such as case studies and white papers.Audience Engagement: Define target audiences, develop and implement targeted sales plays, and leverage data analytics to track performance and optimize marketing efforts.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies, provide leadership to the marketing team, and act as a key spokesperson for our solutions at industry events and customer meetings.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required15+ years relevant working experience either in a similar role or in a marketing agency10+ years team leadership  / people management experiencePreferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:Strong understanding of market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis and development of personas, value propositions, and value maps.Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, organizational and analytical skills.Proven success in working cooperatively and strategically in a team-oriented matrixed environment with the ability to influence and interact with all levels of leadership.Ability to manage a remote and distributed team. Structured approach to data management and execution of data-driven evaluation and decision making around brand elements, campaign design and executionStrong intuition for exercising discretion and confidentiality
