We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Product Control.

Principal Responsibilities

This is an analytical and review role in the Product control team. The role has standard daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables as well as a significant amount of adhoc queries.

Responsible for review of PL's produced in Manila which includes source data to ledger reconciliation, PL attribution, and commentariesEnsuring that all breaks/ issues are identified and resolvedProducing and reviewing month-end close processes for the business unitClose books during month ends including clearing breaks, post journals, provide commentary on material PL/ BS movesPerform Balance Sheet / Account ownership substantiationResponsible for month end valuations which includes performing IPV, Reserves computation and quarterly task including LevellingReview new deals and engage with deal teams, Accounting Policy and Regulatory Policy to ensure the appropriate accounting and regulatory treatment is determined and assess the impact to the firm's disclosuresHandling various audit requirements of local regulatory audit, internal audit, external audit other compliance reviews along with working towards the closure of audit findingsEnsure the maintenance of a strong internal control environmentBuilding and maintenance networks with the Business Unit and other divisions
