Job Description

Publicis Health CoLab is seeking a Fulltime VP, Program Management to join a robust team who is leading our clients to new innovations. The ideal candidate is a project and program management expert, mentor and advocate. He/She is a trusted partner able to lead internal and external teams to align on a mutual understanding of all deliverables and drive them to successful completion. The VP of Program Management will understand agency work products to oversee a team delivering work for at least one significant client book of business.  He/She will partner with other departments to resolve operational issues, champion continuous optimization of processes and advocate for the overall PM team. The Director will be responsible for, but not limited to:

The VP is the program lead responsible for the delivery of high-quality deliverables that power client satisfaction, meet business requirements, and balance client and agency economics.This role defines delivery structure and overall vision on projects and is responsible for overseeing and directing multiple projects within a given client relationship.Structure and lead multi-million dollar marketing programs comprised of multi-disciplinary resources and parallel lines of businessLead a team in management of multiple, concurrent, large-scale projectsEnsure profitability through monitoring of multi-brand roadmap, resource management, expense control and risk mitigationPartner with Group Account Director and Account Directors to manage overall client relationship, and actively promote new ideas to enhance client’s business and grow revenuePartner with Creative to effectively shepherd and manage the evolution of creative work, ensuring the highest quality at all points from concept through deliveryBuild strong partnerships across teams and internal agencies with Integrated Media, Data and Analytics, Commerce, Public Relations, Brand Strategy, Social Media, Production, Finance, and Resource Management departments to ensure connections and collaborations happen where they should and always in support of client’s business goalsProvide solutions-oriented leadership with an expert ability to creatively solve complex problems with a positive, professional demeanor and a high degree of emotional intelligenceManage multiple direct reports, set career and capability goals with them and mentor them into Project Management leadersEnforce team compliance to high organizational standards and professionalismRepresent and advocate for the Project Management discipline with organization, agency, client and third-party leadershipParticipate in team and cross-capability recruiting, interviewing and staffingAttend training seminars and continuing education as offered

Day-to-day, your role includes: 

Manage multi-channel engagements Work with key organizational and client leadership to develop and instill processes, workflows and tools that support the profitable delivery of client work.Be the go-to business partner for operational process development and implementation, organizational structure and design, and risk identification and mitigationMaintain and enforce high standards of communications and documentation, including status and financial reports, timelines, scopes, change orders, burn reports and forecasting, best practices and asset managementProactively manage, provide guidance, and develop clear communication standards around program and business-related risks, including mitigation planning and crisis management.Engage and lead cross-functional teams though the FY planning process while merging it with overall creative and production timelinesActively manage a portfolio of campaigns with interdependencies, in partnership with capability leads and Project Management teamWork with capability leads to understand business needs and helping identify and solve issues to meet business goalsDemonstrate the ability to deliver constructive feedback while outlining and facilitating development plans where needed

Qualifications10+ years applicable experience as a Project Manager in an agency settingFully integrated (marketing, technical, digital, etc.) delivery experience is requiredHealthcare or Pharma experience is requiredLaunch experience is requiredExperienced at handling multi million dollar books of businessExpert at project and program managementStrategic program and tactical planningBachelor's degree Marketing, MIS, or Business Administration or related field is preferred but not requiredSolid understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk and develop detailed work plans and specificationsComfort managing multi-disciplinary teams, which may consist of creatives, technologists, media experts, etc.Experience interfacing with clients and partner vendors on technical delivery projectsComfortable with traveling to the client site
