**Vice President of Project Controls**
We are seeking a strategic leader for our Vice President, Project Controls position. This role will be charged with setting strategy for project controls, cost management, and scheduling for large-scale construction projects across the organization. Key responsibilities include overseeing project budgets, change orders, cost tracking, forecasting, and invoicing. Additionally, you will serve as the primary liaison between operations and accounting to ensure smooth communication and coordination. This role requires someone who excels in dynamic environments, manages complex portfolios, and ensures project consistency and quality.
**Key Responsibilities include:**
+ Lead, mentor, and provide strategic direction to a team of professionals in order to address challenges and ensure project milestones are met.
+ Lead the development of baseline schedules and project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
+ Oversee monthly financials, accruals, and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
+ Communicate closely with internal support groups to resolve escalated issues and coordinate efforts across departments.

**Qualifications:**
+ Expertise in project management concepts, methodologies, and best practices, with deep proficiency in financial controls, risk management, and project scheduling.
+ Minimum of 10 years in project controls and project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects within the energy, construction, or utilities sectors preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration.
+ PMP or other recognized project management credentials preferred.
+ Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, with strong coaching, mentoring, and talent development skills. Ability to inspire confidence, influence decisions, and drive results across diverse, cross-functional teams.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial and project data clearly and persuasively to senior management and clients. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
