Vice President, Diagnostics Research & Development (R&D)

What to Expect:

Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for diagnostics R&D in alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of senior leaders with a primary focus in science, engineering, and clinical research to achieve R&D strategic plan. Collaborate with cross-functional senior leaders, including regulatory affairs, quality assurance, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development and launch. Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscape in diagnostics to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Present progress, findings, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders. Promote a culture of scientific excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the R&D team. Contribute to global corporate strategy as it relates to functional and divisional goals.

What We Expect:

Proven track record of successfully leading and managing R&D teams in the development of diagnostic products from concept to commercialization Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Growth mindset and focus towards continuous improvement
