Vice President, Regional SecurityOverviewThe Security Threat and Response Management Program is looking for a Vice President to join our team to lead the Regional Security function within Corporate Security. The ideal candidate should be passionate about Physical and Cyber Security, highly motivated, analytical, seasoned security professional with experience in managing multi location security operations and leading a large cross regional team of security specialists.
In this role, you will:
• Own and deliver on the Regional Security strategy for ensuring security of Mastercard assets globally and by leading a team of experienced, cross-regional security professionals.
• Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership across business, technology and support functions on matters pertaining to Cyber and Physical Security, including representation on risk and governance forums.
• Lead Physical Security operations across MA offices, coordinate and support crisis and incident response, promote security culture, drive metrics and reporting.
• Collaborate with broader Corporate Security team and cross-functional stakeholders to drive preparedness and implementation of security requirements from internal and external audits, regulatory obligations and related compliance requirements.
• Own the function budget, resourcing needs, security vendor relationship, physical security products and roadmap.
• Represent Mastercard on external forums and drive partnerships to promote the Mastercard brand, security thought leadership, share relevant information with industry peers, government, law enforcement etc.
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Have strong understanding of physical and cyber security operations, governance, risk management practices.
• Experience in managing security programs in diverse cultural and legal environments, senior stakeholder management, crisis situations, risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and guidelines such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, NIST.
• Be seen as a trusted advisor who understands business processes and can provide security consultation and advisory.
• Confident, analytical and able to drive security discussions with internal and external stakeholders, influencing and driving consensus in a global environment with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Be a team player, culturally aware and able to collaborate with cross-regional teams
