JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President, Revenue and Business Assurance manages and oversees the operations of the Revenue and Business Assurance team responsible for planning and efforts related to maximizing revenue opportunities, minimizing business expense and managing compliance. This role identifies opportunities and coordinates with cross functional teams to drive results.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads the Revenue and Business Assurance department to identify and quantify revenue and expense savings opportunities and coordinate with cross functional teams to realize incremental revenue or expense savings. Build business plans, creates presentations, manage the daily operations of the team, and present business findings to the Senior Leadership team.
Develops and implements revenue assurance and cost assurance applications and processes, develops and maintains reporting databases to establish trending to detect revenue and expense leakage, and establishes and monitors audits and controls to protect revenue and integrity.
Serves as a liaison to the Corporate Revenue Assurance team, Accounting and Internal Audit departments in efforts related to revenue controls and revenue recognition, coordinates with the Billing Operations team to implement controls and processes to drive incremental revenue, and partners with the Business Intelligence team on revenue reporting and analysis.
Establishes and maintains a compliance framework for government funded programs including audit and remediation efforts and liaises with legal/regulatory teams and the business unit on government funded programs.
Serves as the local expert for revenue data, research questions for management and conduct ad-hoc investigation.
