Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the overall sales strategy and execution for Vybond’s Specialty Tapes & Adhesives business. This role will lead the sales organization and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers. They will drive revenue and profit growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership.
Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives and market opportunities. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, verticals, and strategic partnerships. Collaborate with executive leadership team to set short- and long-term sales goals and revenue targets. Work with the commercial team to develop annual and strategic plans to meet revenue, profit, and market penetration goals.
Team Management Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team. Train and develop top sales talent, ensuring alignment with the company values and strategic objectives. Establish performance metrics and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration within the sales teams and the organization.
Customer Focus and Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer partners and industry influencers. Develop customer-centric strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Act as the company’s primary representative in key negotiations and partnership discussions.
Sales Operations & Planning Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely tracking of sales. Participates in the development of sales compensation plans and review programs with sales personnel to align with business plans. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and implement targeted plans for key accounts. Optimize sales processes and leverage CRM tools to drive efficiency and data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with finance and product management to align pricing and promotional strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with commercial team to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, emerging trends, and market insights. Work with the cross-functional team to drive innovation, new product development, gather feedback on product performance and enhancement opportunities. Work closely with marketing to develop sales collateral, marketing campaigns and trade show strategies. Partner with supply chain and customer service to ensure we meet or exceed industry service levels. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking events. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience; preferably within the Tapes & Adhesives sector. Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field. Experienced at building high-performing sales organizations. Proven track-record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. Experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies and managing complex sales cycles.
