Vice President, Strategy and Analytics

We’re looking for an amazing Vice President, Strategy and Analytics to fill this role, which is based in our Fort Lauderdale office. As Vice President of Strategy and Analytics you’ll play an instrumental role in orchestrating and advising on the brand’s strategic direction, financial health, and overall performance. You’ll craft the overarching vision, strategic framework, and bespoke solutions necessary to make data-driven decisions at the highest levels of the organization. You’ll spearhead market research, data collection, and business cases, actively workings towards industry-leading data sets and new methodologies to achieve strategic goals and enhance business performance. Here’s a summary of what Princess is looking for in its Vice President, Strategy and Analytics. Is this you? **Responsibilities** **Strategy:** + Lead a Strategy capability continuously analyzing market, competitive and revenue scenarios, and business cases in addition to performance insights to drive incremental revenue and optimizations across teams. + Lead operational efficiency initiatives, partnering and leading industrial engineers and operations for unlocking opportunities across workforce and processes. + Lead a team and effort to refine and focus the Princess Medallion Class Product offering to better operationalize as well as monetize the differentiated offering. **Analytics and Business Intelligence:** + Design, build and sustain business intelligence capabilities across all departments and performance areas. + Partner with all department leaders to establish executive and operational analytics and dashboards for sustained performance measurement. + Strategize and modernize our data warehouse capabilities, architecture, and integrations. + Drive a specialized highly skilled team around Medallion Class data in conjunction with the Strategy team to formalize intelligence from the platform against performance, operations and revenue strategies and initiatives. **Lead and develop a high-performing team:** + Hire, train, and mentor a diverse team of vice presidents, directors, and managers across guest commerce and technology departments. + Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching. + Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching to team members to support their professional development and career growth. Identify high-potential talent and create opportunities for them to take on additional responsibilities and advance within the organization. + Encourage and empower team members to suggest and implement innovative ideas and solutions to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and overall performance. + Develop meaningful performance rewards to recognize team members who contribute to the success of guest commerce. **Build and maintain strategic partnerships:** + Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships with key vendors, suppliers, and industry players to expand product offerings, improve the guest experience, and drive incremental revenue. **Develop and manage budgets:** + Create and manage annual guest commerce budgets, including revenue projections, expense forecasts, and capital expenditures. + Monitor budget performance and adjust as necessary to ensure financial targets are met. **Ensure compliance and mitigate risks:** + Stay current with international regulations, data and privacy laws and industry best practices related to intelligence/data. + Design/Implement compliant technology solutions across international security and privacy protocols. + Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize legal and financial risks. **Requirements** + Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or related field required + Minimum 15 years in executive leadership roles overseeing significant P&Ls and large teams in technology, sales, and revenue enhancement. + Minimum 10 years of business management experience in the cruise, hospitality, or retail industries. + Experience in strategy, transformation, and revenue optimization + Experience with development, deployment, promotions, and market penetration using data analytics. + Extensive experience working cross-functionally within a large scale, complex, data driven and technologically innovative organization. + Strong consumer mindset and track record - drives the business in a way that establishes clear consumer value propositions. Able to gain alignment and commitment across the organization. + Participative, thoughtful facilitator that can keep others engaged and on track in meeting environments. + Ability to manage multiple complex projects while meeting deadlines, budgets and managing teams to achieve optimal results. + Excellent problem-solving skills and track record of overcoming barriers through creative solutioning. + Extensive experience leading, developing, and coaching a team. **Please note that this position is considered In Office and will be required to follow the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday).** **What You Can Expect** + Cruise and Travel Privileges for You and Your Family + Health Benefits + 401(k) + Employee Stock Purchase Plan + Training & Professional Development + Tuition & Professional Certification Reimbursement + Rewards & Incentives + Base Salary Range: $200,000.00 to $250,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
