Purpose of Role: Under the direction of the Division President, the VP, Global Supply Chain partners with all levels of the organization, including executive stakeholders to develop, implement, and execute the ESCO Division’s global supply chain function across all regions; which includes business planning; leadership and direction; budgeting; continuous improvement of global supply chain processes; and implementing the global supply chain strategy and vision.
In addition, this role directly supervises global demand planning; planning systems; digital supply chain roadmap, divisional SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning), global FGI (Finished Goods Inventory) levels and governance structure, all centralized logistics, distribution centers, purchasing, sourcing and vendor quality management. Instill a culture of continuous improvement and process management to ensure results are achieved in a controlled and progressive manner and engages employees at every level to take full advantage of the talent within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: We're seeking a dynamic leader who prioritizes ESCO's overall success, integrating supply chain strategies seamlessly into our broader mission for transformative growth and innovation. Lead a global team of approximately 90 people, including two distribution centers. Provide constructive feedback and promote an inclusive, collaborative environment with a customer-centric attitude.
Supply Chain Performance: Ensure ESCO meets its on-time delivery targets and other supply chain service metrics, including inventory efficiency and cost savings. Collaborate with regional managing directors to enhance processes and address service issues.
Budget Management: Oversee the management of ESCO’s $300M spend and global finished goods inventories (~$160M). Implement global best practices and digital capabilities to optimize service and inventory levels, supporting strategic growth and working capital efficiency.
Digital Strategy and Project Implementation: Lead ESCO’s supply chain digital strategic vision, advocating for and implementing global projects. Develop business cases for significant digital investments and ensure successful execution of multi-million dollar projects with cross-functional teams.
Executive SIOP Leadership: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, and Finance to advise the Executive team on trade-offs for a rolling 12-month consensus plan. Utilize complex modeling to provide optimal solutions and gain consensus across teams and executives.
Sourcing, Procurement, and Logistics: Develop a global outsourcing supplier network to meet ESCO’s quality, cost, and delivery needs. Oversee supplier quality and compliance, drive cost savings, and manage global logistics to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with standards.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above. Ideally candidates will have over ten years of progressive experience in a corporate supply chain role within a multinational company with multiple locations. Experience in local-level operations and manufacturing is also beneficial.
Leadership and Vision: Proven ability to share and engage others in the business vision, demonstrating strong leadership skills
Transformation: Proven experience in leading teams through transformational change in both processes and systems
Financial Acumen: Significant P&L responsibility over the past decade, with the ability to read and understand detailed financial statements.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to develop short, mid, and long-term strategies.
Results-Oriented: A driven and results-oriented approach, with a track record of meeting key metrics.
Global Relationship Management: Extensive experience in managing international inter-company relationships and value chains.
Ability to travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally.
