About Us:
The Vice President of Talent Acquisition (VP of TA) is a strategic leader responsible for designing and executing the company’s global talent acquisition strategy. The VP of TA will lead a high-performing team, develop employer branding initiatives, and drive hiring strategies which align with business objectives, specifically within the mission support, aerospace and engineering sectors.
The VP of TA must be both a strategic leader and a process-driven innovator, balancing high-volume recruiting, security constraints, and global hiring demands.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
+ Develop and implement a global talent acquisition strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives, contract pipeline, and evolving workforce needs across aerospace, engineering, commercial, government, and classified programs.
+ Align talent acquisition (TA) efforts with business unit priorities, ensuring hiring strategies meet short-term contract fulfillment and long-term workforce planning goals.
+ Customize hiring strategies to account for the various business units, local labor laws, security clearance regulations, and geopolitical factors in international markets.
+ Define and track talent acquisition metrics to measure success (e.g., time-to-fill).
+ Develop key metrics and performance indicators and track talent acquisition metrics to measure success. Implement a data-driven approach to optimize time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, recruiter productivity, and offer acceptance rates, ensuring recruitment efficiency and scalability.
+ Ensure compliance with U.S. and international hiring regulations (e.g., ITAR, DFARS, GDPR) while maintaining talent attraction and retention best practices.
+ Implement best-in-class recruitment processes and technologies to optimize efficiency and candidate experience aerospace, engineering, commercial, government, and classified programs.
+ Drive culture and engagement initiatives within hiring strategies.
+ Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and optimization to measure recruiting success.
+ Recruitment Performance Metrics: Time to Fill, Time to Start, Candidate Pipeline Strength
+ Compliance & Risk Mitigation Metrics: ITARS, EEO, GDPR, Security Clearance Pass Rate, etc.
+ Operational Efficiency & Cost Metrics: Recruiter Productivity, Cost per Hire, Offer Acceptance Rate
+ Enhance collaboration by standardizing processes, workflows, data, and centralized reporting between the current ATS platforms, utilizing AI & Automation, and cross-training & governance.
+ Manage, motivate, and coach a global team, instilling a culture of excellence, execution, and accountability.
+ Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
+ Partner with HR and business leaders to enhance workforce planning and succession strategies.
+ Develop a vendor governance strategy for TA by managing relationships with a mix of internal recruiters, external staffing firms, RPOs, and future AI-driven sourcing tools. Strategies could include a centralized vendor scorecard, performance metrics, security-cleared talent pipeline agreements, and vendor consolidation and cost optimization.
+ Champion the integration of AI-driven technologies to enhance capabilities and unlock efficiencies talent acquisition.
+ Implement AI-driven recruitment solutions to bridge data gaps, automate tasks, and enhance hiring efficiency.
+ Develop AI-driven insights to forecast attrition risks, hiring demands based on contract awards, market salary competitiveness, and real-time talent market trends.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ Experience:
+ 15+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
+ Strong experience recruiting in aerospace, engineering, commercial, government, technology and classified programs sectors.
+ Expertise in leveraging technology and analytics to optimize recruiting efforts and employee development initiatives.
+ Talent management experience with a demonstrated success in building scalable processes, driving results, and implementing talent management programs that support long-term organizational goals.Experience leveraging data analytics and AI-driven recruitment tools to drive decision-making.
+ Demonstrated ability to create and operationalize a customer-centric vision, achieving buy-in and collaboration across departments.
+ Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
+ Comprehensive understanding of HR Shared Services models and best practices in a multi-country context.
Other Requirements:
+ May work extended hours, as required.
+ United States citizenship required.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree or certifications in HR, Talent Acquisition, or related fields preferred.

+ The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
+ USD $ 240,000 - $270,000
+ Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
