The Position
Kaufman, Hall & Associates, LLC, is seeking a Vice President of Thought Leadership to support and develop content that advances Kaufman Hall’s thought leadership position within the healthcare industry. This role will serve as a subject matter expert and primary resource for consultants throughout the organization in need of research and articulation of information and concepts.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a tenured career writing sophisticated content and conducting intensive research.  In addition to these main areas of focus, the Vice President will also be involved in slide design to create or support blog posts, articles, research reports, presentations podcasts, videos, consulting projects, and others.  The position also involves planning, administration, and execution related to matters such as selected speaking engagements, podcast and video production, publishing, and collaborations with other organizations. Superior healthcare knowledgeSuperior writing skills, including the ability to clearly express complex ideas and information in an engaging styleSuperior research skillsExperience with a range of communications formats, including speeches, short- and long-form prose, PowerPoint presentations, podcasts, and videoAbility to work under deadlineAbility to manage multiple projectsAbility to work independentlyA minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare research, writing and other forms of communicationOutstanding communication, people, and leadership skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePointHighly intelligent with a strong wish to continue learningA career-motivated professional who possesses a superb work ethic and well-developed interpersonal skillsA high level of self-confidence and an entrepreneurial spiritA high degree of integrity and strong moral and ethical standardsA true team player who is both collaborative and flexiblePublic or media relations experience a plusApplicants for employment must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kaufman Hall (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)Education: A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related program, or in health administration or related programMaster’s level degree preferredPhysical Requirements Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing and typing.
