ScionHealth is recruiting for a VP, Total Rewards to join our team Preferred candidates will reside in either Louisville, Kentucky or Nashville, Tennessee. Remote candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Job Summary

The VP, Total Rewards oversees and directs the design, development, updating and maintenance of all compensation and benefit plans, programs, guidelines, and procedures, including health, dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and 401(k) plans and base, short-term and long-term compensation plans. Will include ancillary benefits such as tuition reimbursement, service awards, IMPACT program.

Essential Functions

Oversees design, development and administration of compensation, health, welfare, and retirement plans for union and non-union employees.With full staff management responsibility, directs and coaches staff in completion of Compensation & Benefits objectives, including plan design, day-to-day administration, annual merit/incentive, and open enrollment process. Oversees request for proposal process to ensure potential vendors are interviewed, recommendations are compliant with federal and state regulations, and potential costs of the changes/additions/omissions offer maximum coverage at minimum cost to company and employee.Direct self-audits and government audits for compliance with relevant regulations.Direct the management of third-party sources responsible for benefit actuarial services and costing of benefit plans.Consults with division heads to develop and implement benefit plans to meet specific needs. Plans conversion of benefits for acquired companies.Collaborates with HRIS to ensure current and future system configuration appropriately manages benefit information.Coordinates with Accounting for the 5500 Filing.Develops and oversees departmental and individual plan budgets for compensation, health, welfare, ancillary benefits and retirement plans.

Education
