The Know Your Customer (KYC) Office is an AML function under Financial Crimes, embedded within the Firm’s business line.It is responsible for identifying, assessing, and escalating potential money laundering and reputational risk issues associated with higher risk client types. The WM and U.S. Banks Financial Crimes Risk Team is considered the first line of defense and appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Morgan Stanley, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Responsibilities:
