Your daily responsibilities and impact: + Design, placement, negotiation and servicing of Professional Liability insurance programs with Bermuda based markets; primarily writing Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Wage and Hour, Professional Liability and Bond coverage lines. + Preparation and presentation of proposals for renewal and new business opportunities. + Considerable interaction with clients, senior underwriters and overseas executives. + Any other duties of a similar nature as identified by senior management. + Business travel and frequent client entertainment outside of normal business hours. Required skills and experience that will lead to success: + A minimum of eight years of continuous recent insurance experience transacting with U.S., Bermuda and/or international markets. + Retail broking experience with North American clients ideally together with strong wholesale broking relationships with Bermuda Professional Lines underwriters is preferred. + Expertise in claims-made liability policy forms. + Experience in the design and manuscript of primary and excess policy forms, developing and marketing new products and explaining the suitability and risk appetites of insurance trading partners to clients. + Strong analytical, innovation, presentation and product development skills. + Well-developed business communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills together with capabilities for strengthening market relationships; + Practical judgement and decision-making skills in immediate situations. + Strong digital literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office Software, such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Webex.
