Job Title: Vice President, Clark County The Organization: Acelero, Inc. Established in 2001, Acelero, Inc. is made up of two divisions - Acelero Learning and Shine Early Learning. Acelero Learning provides direct Head Start services to more than 5,000 children and families in four states (delegates) – New Jersey, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. In the past three years, Shine has further diversified its offerings through training, technical assistance, and consultation to publicly funded early childhood systems, including the launch of SPARK Learning Labs. The Purpose of the Role The Vice President of Acelero Learning Head Start in Clark County champions strategic leadership and innovative early childhood education initiatives. Tasked with overseeing comprehensive program operations and enhancing community partnerships, this leader ensures high-quality service delivery aligning with Acelero Learning's mission. They drive performance management, advocate for supportive policies, and optimize fiscal resources to eliminate achievement gaps for young children. By leveraging strategic data insights, the Vice President supports Acelero’s commitment to transformative impacts in the lives of children and families. What You’ll Work On + Oversees the day-to-day management, operations, and compliance for the Clark County Head Start Program that serves 1400+ students. + Serves as the external face of Acelero Learning in the local community, reflecting positively on the organization and advocating for its presence in Clark County and other prospective service areas. + Maintains a positive relationship with Clark County Board of Directors, Parent and Policy Committees, regional Executive Directors, and national support center staff, including serving on the national Head Start Leadership Team. + Executes effective and efficient program planning and implementation. + Manages the regional budget, striving to find efficiencies and room for revenue growth on a regular basis. + Uses current and relevant data consistently to make informed decisions regarding program structure, program options and overall program size and effectiveness. About You (Requirements/Competencies) + Master’s degree required, ideally in business administration or education. + Minimum five (5) years of experience in a management role involving program oversight, fiscal management, facilities management, and administration required preferably within a multi-site operation. + Relevant Head Start experience or experience in a field related to childhood education, or families preferred. + Minimum three (3) years of experience regularly supervising teams of at least 10 people required. + Demonstrated experience in a change management environment requiring leadership in defining processes and establishing relationships, both internal and external required. + Demonstrated experience in program planning, operations, and evaluation, and the use of management information systems required. When/Where/How Much Start Date : Summer 2024 Location/Travel : Remote Position. Travel required locally or long-distance up to 30% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
