This senior leader oversees product development, service innovation, and customer satisfaction while managing financial performance and ensuring the highest standards of safety across all operations.Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive the growth of the bulk gas segment, aligning initiatives with Airgas’s corporate vision and financial goals.Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Establish a culture of safety and compliance across all operations, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other relevant regulations. Regularly assess risk, implement corrective actions, and promote continuous improvement in safety protocols.Operational Excellence: Oversee production, logistics, and distribution processes, ensuring quality control and optimal operational efficiency. Implement best practices to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and reduce costs while maintaining high product quality.Customer-Centric Service: Drive customer satisfaction by developing innovative service offerings, refining delivery processes, and collaborating with the sales team to strengthen client relationships and identify new opportunities.Financial Management: Manage the division’s budget, forecasting, and P&L to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic objectives. Monitor financial performance closely and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, promoting a collaborative environment that fosters accountability, growth, and continuous improvement. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.Minimum 15 years of experience in the industrial or bulk gas industry, with extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards, including OSHA and DOT.Strong background in regulatory compliance and safety management, with a proven track record of upholding and advancing safety standards.Proficiency in financial management, strategic planning, and operational oversight.Expertise in customer relationship management, with a strong ability to develop client-focused solutions and drive service excellence.Leadership & Personal Competencies:Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage cross-functional teams.Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
