Vice President - Executive Liability

We are seeking a Vice President, Executive Liability to join our ProEx team. This position reports to the ProEx Northeast Practice Leader.

This intermediate leadership position requires contributing and taking ownership of significant responsibilities to build and develop an industry leading portfolio of Executive liability clients.  Accountable for cultivating in house client and colleague relationships, developing and consistently executing on a comprehensive service proposition for clients, primary responsibility for management of  diverse insurer relationships and driving team execution of strong sales and cross-sell capability for Executive liability insurance products.

This position is open to our NY, NJ, & PA locations.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for team execution of Executive Liability Value PropositionRecruitment, training and development of staff within specific mandateDeveloping meaningful collaborative relationships with internal colleagues, teams and leaders as well as external partners, insurers and service providers.drive performance of strong sales cultureDevelopment and constant improvement of meaningful client relationshipsEffectively marketing Executive Liability coverages to our current book of retail clients and to work with Hub producers to cultivate new customers.Effectively developing relationships with current Hub Commercial Lines service leaders and producers to become their professional resource for all things Executive Lines.Evaluating and identifying Executive exposures.Preparing submissions and submitting to carriers for quotation.Negotiating terms and conditions of the insurance contracts with the carriers.Developing a creative and customized insurance program to protect the insured.Developing a presentation of solutions for the agent/insured.Maintaining new business growth via production goals.Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

10-15 years of relevant experience.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong presentation and organizational skills.Results-driven mind-set.Ability to deliver client-focused solutions that contribute to long-lasting relationships.Travel to agent and client locations as required (some overnight stays).Maintain a valid P&C insurance license.Hold a professional designation.Juris Doctor, MBA or other advanced degree preferredFormer leadership, team development and performance management experience.Ability to collaborate and leverage operational, new business and technology opportunities

The expected pay range for this position is $200,000 to $225,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and commissions for some positions.
