The Vice President of Foodservice Sales will manage and direct the K-12, Distributor, National Accounts & C-Store businesses to exceed budgeted net sales, pounds and margin.
Essential Job Functions:
Create a strategic vision and execution plan through the assessment of marketplace opportunities.Secure buy in of the strategic plan across the organization including, operations, marketing and senior leadership team. The final plan must be grounded in sound analysis of competition, consumer trends, corporate strengths, weaknesses, capabilities and other key factors.Drive profitable sales growth for all Foodservice segments by bringing the strategic plan to life through focused talent management, accountability, and optimized sales structure.Develop a customer segmentation model that drives optimized decision making and prioritizes growth opportunities across the foodservice customer base.Create a talent development strategy to strengthen the overall succession planning, capabilities and customer penetration across foodservice.Lead the foodservice sales force through communication, accountability and direction across the direct and broker management teams.Manage key customers, establish trade programs, monitor pricing execution and compliance, optimize margin of product mix and resolve customer issues.Monitor production and availability of foodservice products and develop new sales on all products based on availability.QualificationsBA/BS DegreeA minimum of 10 years Foodservice sales management with distributors, K-12, C-Store & National Accounts.Must be well organized and hold team members accountable.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must have valid driver’s license with the ability to travel on a regular basis.Must have demonstrated ability to work in a fast past environment.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
