The Vice President of Clinical Services position is responsible for the supervision of internal internal nursing support resources, within the operations department. The position requires travel to each facility on a regular basis to assist and evaluate the daily operations. This position reports to the Sr. Vice President of Operations, and works collaboratively with other members of the senior leadership team. Specific functions of the position include but are not limited to:
Provides leadership, guidance and support of all clinical functions of the organization and ensures departmental goals are successfully achieved. Responsible for the strategic planning and operations of the areas of responsibility by implementing cost control measures and meeting budget goals. Review existing programs, monitors Quality programs for effectiveness, and assist in implementation of new programs. Assist in recruiting, selection and orientation of key clinical leadership staff. Act as a resource to assist administrators / Executive Directors (as needed) in problem identification and resolution of staff problems. Review staffing and labor budgets and make recommendations. Monitor Federal and State regulatory compliance including MDS and PBJ. Support and assist each community to insure compliance with all current and new regulations pertaining to regulations. Lead facility based peer review strategy to ensure regulatory compliance Ongoing management of EHR.Qualified candidates should possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and exceptional computer skills for this position will be leading & mentoring other team members in the field.
Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related. Must be currently licensed in the state of Florida as a Registered Nurse; Master’s Degree in Nursing, business, or other health related field is preferred. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience, working in a health related field, preferably in a multi-facility long term care organization.
