The Commercial Development individual for 3PL services is responsible for prospecting and sale of Knipper 3PL services to pharmaceutical, device, and health-care manufacturers. The Commercial Development individual will work in partnership with their sales counterparts in other Knipper Divisions to increase penetration into existing customer accounts. The VP of Commercial Development, 3PL will also be responsible for prospecting and growing Knipper’s market penetration in new accounts.
Fully Remote role with the availability to travel when necessary.
Responsibilities Prospect for new opportunities throughout the US and world marketsDevelop sales presentations and action plans geared for potential new clientsWork closely with Knipper Health leadership to create new business strategies.Work within Knipper Health-care departments to build support structures and collaborationIdentify future industry trends for growth opportunitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in client organization.Assist in development of proposals/RFP responses for future businessEnsure all parties within Knipper Health-care have the proper knowledge and expectations of the client’s needs as well as their account strategy.Participate in client meetings as required to help improve client relationship as well as business development.Accurate and timely contracting of new business.Actively engage in industry trade-shows, conferences and networking events to generate relationships and opportunities.Travel is required

QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS or equivalent experience.10 years’ experience related to health-care distribution space.Minimum 10+ years of experience in a sales role.Minimum 10+ years of experience in the life sciences industry.Consultative sales experienceExperience leading sales demonstrations, presentations to existing or potential clients.Proven history of sales/ revenue generation.Proven history of new client acquisition.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent collaboration in a team environment.Deep network of current industry contacts.Highly skilled in negotiating high dollar contracts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong overall business knowledge specific to strategic planning, sales, and financial abilities.Detailed knowledge of life sciences industry.Knowledge of Salesforce.comExcellent presentation skills.Advanced skill in consultive salesSkilled in Microsoft Office programs as well as SalesForce CRM platform.Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving.Ability to accurately perform steps and follow processes related to proposal generation and statements of work.Ability to create and articulate 3PL solutions to prospective clientsAbility to adjust leadership and communication style to motivate diverse groups to achieve extraordinary results.
