**Job Description**
The **Vice President of Finance- Global Supply Chain & Procurement** is a senior role leading key functions within the North America region for Aramark?s Global Supply Chain & GPO team.
This role will lead several teams within the group including: 1) US MS Billing and 2) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for both US MS and GPO groups and 3) Canada Supply Chain & GPO finance teams.
The role will lead:
? **US MS Billing** - The VP Finance leads the US MS Billing organization responsible for overseeing the billing and collecting of over $450m in gross income in conjunction with the monthly accrual and verification process associated with month-end processes.
? **US MS & GPO FP&A** - The VP Finance will also oversee the day-to-day financial planning and analysis functions within the North American Supply Chain Finance organization encompassing both US MS and NA GPO areas. In addition to leading the FP&A function of the group, the role will interact with various teams and stakeholders including GSC&GPO management teams, Avendra Sourcing leaders, GSC&GPO operational groups, Corporate Finance and the LOB Finance and Accounting functions.
? **Canada Finance** - Further, the VP Finance will lead all aspects of Canadian Managed Services Supply Chain and GPO finance operations, including spend collection and coding, the associated systems, and all FP&A functions including the monthly close process, forecasting and planning, contract and client analysis, and overall spend/data management.
The position reports directly to the VP and CFO of North American Supply Chain & GPOs and will rely heavily on the ideal candidate?s ability to lead a large team across multiple geographies and to establish relationships across many functions and businesses to drive analysis and action as necessary.
**Job Responsibilities**
**US MS Billing**
? Lead the monthly close process ensuring along with the Finance Director accurate projected income and related true-ups for the month
? Oversee the billing process ensuring all billings completed on time and in full
? Engage with the Finance Director, team members and Sourcing to ensure all outstanding A/R is accounted for in a timely fashion
? Oversee the billing set-up process working in conjunction with the Finance Director to prioritize team activity to ensure the most value added are addressed properly
? Drive forward any process improvement and reporting initiatives as they are identified
? Lead collaboration efforts with the Billing team, IT, Sourcing, Supply Chain Operations, Data Management and where necessary LOB teams as it may relate to new contract set up and data validation concerns
**FP&A (US MS and GPO)**
? Lead and develop the US MS and GPO Financial Planning and Analysis teams by providing leadership, development and growth opportunities to the teams
? Foster a culture of process improvement continually evaluating current reporting and analysis ways of working for potential improvements and modifications
? Monthly Close & Forecast Processes
+ Lead the monthly close and forecast processes across the US MS GPO arenas collaborating key stakeholders, running meetings and consolidating results whilst identifying trends and actions to mitigate shortfalls and drive results.
+ Oversee and direct the analysis of key operational and financial measures of the business
+ Oversee and/or coordinate the preparation of LOB reviews
+ Preparing and presenting standard key performance and financial reports to senior management, including consolidation of information for the Supply Chain/GPO organization
+ Provide support as needed for any monthly Operating Review financial analysis activities
? Annual Planning Activities
+ Lead the development of the US MS Supply Chain NVD Plan and US GPO Plans at detailed program and profit center level
+ Incorporate feedback from various functions including LOB planning assumptions, Sourcing program changes and GPO Operations changes to help development Annual Plan
+ Consolidate and prepare necessary summary analysis for senior management both within Supply Chain and at LOB level identifying plan drivers, risks and opportunities
+ Prepare gap analysis if necessary, including solution maps
+ Build related analytical and communications packages for Supply Chain, LOBs and Corporate Finance on Annual Plan output
**Responsibilities Continued:**
**Canada Finance:**
? Lead the monthly close and forecast processes across MS Supply Chain and GPO operation. Collaborate with GPO and MS teams, run meetings and consolidate and analyze results. Identify trends and recommend actions plans to mitigate shortfalls and drive results.
? Oversee and direct the analysis of key operational and financial measures of the business
? Administer policies and programs to assist in the achievement of financial objectives
? Oversee and/or coordinate the preparation of business reviews, strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan
? Provide leadership in implementing an improved forecasting process for Aramark NVDs.
? Run sensitivity analyses to forecast scenarios and identify risks and opportunities
? Coordinate operational side of Planning process working closely with the GPO and Procurement leadership to develop financial plans and objectives and ensure initiatives are in place to deliver results
? Support future acquisition or growth initiative analysis and decision support
? Provide Supply Chain related support and analysis to Business Unit and Canada Corporate departments as needed
? Supervises and directs the preparation of Supply Chain/GPO financial statements
? Reviews reasonableness of financial results prior to month end financial closings
? Ensures review of general ledger accounts to ensure that activity complies with company policies and procedures and that balances are accurately stated
? Oversees and directs the analysis of key balance sheet accounts including Accounts Receivable, fixed assets, and accrued expenses
? Oversees and implements all required SOX and internal controls
? Provides auditing interface to internal/external and client auditors
? Notifies senior management of potential accounting problems or internal control weaknesses
? Ensures timely, accurate communication of relevant information to operating components and clients.
**Qualifications**
**Skills:**
? Strong finance, planning and analysis background and quantitative skills
? Solid knowledge of accounting principles and processes as it relates to allowance billing and recognition and GPO principles
? Excellent presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex situations and present to senior management
? Ability to coordinate a number of projects and prioritize accordingly across a large team
? Strong collaboration skills as the role involves high levels of coordination across functional areas
? Seasoned leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive results without direct authority
? A change agent with strong corporate finance and analytical rigor
? Ability to identify issues and develop solutions and execute results whilst dealing with senior management with the appropriate strategic maturity and experience
**Qualifications:**
? 15+ years of progressive experience in senior level Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting roles.
? Bachelor?s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
? Ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams, including project development and execution; successful track record of completing projects effectively and timely
? Strong problem solving and analytical skills
? Quality & continuous improvement mentality
? Excellent written & oral communications
? Organizational acumen
? Strong leadership agility, team development skills and managerial courage
? Some overnight travel required (<25%)
