Vice President of Microtransit Services

As Vice President of Microtransit Services, you will lead our Microtransit business, overseeing all aspects of the business, from strategy development, planning and implementation. We're looking for a business builder -- a strong commercial leader who can focus on the market opportunity and develop the team and capabilities to best address it.

 

You will manage the development and execution of all Microtransit initiatives to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services that meet or exceed customer expectations. A key element of the role will be to generate leads proactively by engaging directly with clients to understand their challenges. You will also collaborate closely with the executive team to drive innovation and growth across the organization focused on the Microtransit Market segment.

 

Responsibilities:

Customer-focus is essential -- meeting/cultivating customers, understanding their needs and designing solutions to address those needs.Lead the development and execution of the Microtransit business strategy, in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.Identify developing trends and provide a business model meeting passenger needs while achieving operations efficiency.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.Collaborate with the business development and executive team to identify and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams.Function as a spokesperson for the Microtransit business, representing the company at industry events and other public forums.Develop and execute strategy for Microtransit, inclusive of support models, technology options, co-mingling of services, opportunity for cost improvements and improved customer experience.Manage and mentor a team of indirect reports, including key personnel responsible for the Microtransit business. Focused on Consulting, planning, design, and implementation.Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, customers, and other industry partners to become and industry SME on Microtransit services.Oversee the development and implementation of operating plans, budgets, and performance metrics for the Microtransit business.Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of operations, including service quality, efficiency, and safety.

Talent Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.10+ years of experience in transportation operations, with experience in MicrotransitStrong leadership skills with a history of managing and developing high-performing teamsProven ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitabilityStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExperience working with government agencies and other regulatory bodiesStrong understanding of technology and how it can be used to improve operational efficiency and customer experienceExperience deploying new service models with major technology components.
