**About this role**
The Vice President (VP) of Partnership Development is responsible for identifying and selling services to healthcare clients within division markets, while also analyzing new growth opportunities. This role involves developing marketing materials and supporting RFP efforts, as well as managing lobbyists within existing and potential contract markets. The VP collaborates with teams such as Finance, Legal, and Operations to drive proposal, pricing, and amendment processes, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of materials, while leveraging resources across the partnership development team to achieve successful outcomes.
**What you bring to the table**
Education
+ College degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in successful consultative sales and team management.
+ Demonstrated ability to plan, lead, and implement programs and processes required. Ideal candidates will have healthcare, mental health and/or corrections background with experience obtaining businesses through RFP and/ or bid processes and/ or working with government agencies.
+ Must possess strong conceptual, analytical, leadership, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Licenses/Certifications
+ None required.
**What you will do**
+ Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives for the division, aligning with company objectives, and provide regular progress reports to key stakeholders.
+ Identify and close sales opportunities nationwide, including maintaining client relationships, leveraging company resources, and meeting revenue and margin targets.
+ Manage the proposal process, including coordinating with subject matter experts, attending RFP pre-bid conferences, and ensuring timely completion of proposals in Salesforce.com.
+ Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about services, benefits, and potential impacts on business and forecasted revenue, while conducting presentations on opportunities and competition.
+ Mentor new Sales and Marketing employees, support continuing education for service teams, and direct marketing activities to capitalize on current and potential opportunities.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
Education
