ResponsibilitiesPeople Strategy & Organizational Development and Culture
Lead people-centered strategies that align with BGCLAH’s mission and values. Drive organizational culture initiatives that foster inclusion, engagement, and belonging. Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of growth or transformation.Talent & Workforce Development
Oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and develop top talent. Design professional development programs that build staff capacity and succession planning. Collaborate with managers to enhance team performance, engagement, and career growth.Compliance, Labor Relations & Government Grant Oversight
Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, wage and hour regulations, and HR best practices. Lead all aspects of labor relations, including working with legal counsel as needed.
Compensation, Benefits & People Systems
Build compensation, benefits, and HR systems, ensuring they support equity and competitiveness. Partner with finance to align HR budgets with organizational priorities. Build HR analytics and workforce insights.Employee Experience & Well-Being
Develop initiatives that promote employee well-being, morale, and engagement. Act as a trusted advisor and resource to employees at all levels. Ensure HR practices reflect a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in mission-driven organizations. Experience in creating strong systems, policies and programs. Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR systems. Proven ability to lead organizational culture and change management initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills with a highly collaborative, solutions-oriented approach. Commitment to the mission and values of BGCLAH. HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
